How to build a squad that survives epic fights: read your health and strength bonuses, match them to your leadership, and stack the right ratio of troops. Below is the method, a calculator, and tested ratios.
Open a recent epic battle report. Click the event, review your attacking troops and their performance, and inspect the unit details for their specific bonuses — for example a Battle Griffin might show Strength +1462% and Health +1183%.
Find your leadership (Squad Health cap). This is the total your squad can hold — for example 105,000. Every troop costs leadership; stacking is about spending it well.
Note your strength-against-epic bonus separately. Epic monsters have their own damage modifier — a unit might show a strength-vs-epic bonus (e.g. +598%) distinct from its base strength. This is what actually matters in these fights.
Enter your numbers to estimate squad composition. Note: the formula below is a starting scaffold — replace the calc() logic with the game's real leadership-per-unit math once confirmed.
